I am really excited to be going to Damascus Va on August 30. I will be running a 50k trail where parts were the old Appalachian Trail. I will not only be able to run but also look back a happy moments when I hiked this area in 2002.  This is very near the starting point of all three races that will take place on Aug30

    I am looking forward to all of your posts, especially the running events you do. I will have to face the fact that I cannot go the long distance but will enjoy reading about yours. Try as I might, it just isn't in me. I don't think it ever was. If that one marathon back in '86 was any indication, then that is my fate. I'll stick to short runs and just be thankful for them. Ok, let's go!
